Also known as “Yogic Sleep”, Yoga Nidra is a meditative relaxation technique that guides the practitioner into a hypnagogic state (the state between waking and sleeping), promoting a deep sense of ease and self-healing through guided awareness and observation. This workshop will include 30 minutes of asana, movement and breathing practices to help prepare the body for rest. As you will be lying down for a long period of time, please feel free to bring pillows or other forms of support so that you can relax into stillness against the ground. All levels welcome.
